  • Noceto, Italy

    Sister City relationship established 1987.

    Noceto is a charming town located in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy, specifically in the province of Parma. It’s a small but historically rich town, known for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant local culture.

    The area around Noceto has a long history dating back to Roman times, and it boasts several historical landmarks, such as churches, villas, and ancient ruins. The town is situated in the fertile Po River Valley, which contributes to its strong agricultural traditions. In particular, Noceto is known for its production of Parma ham (prosciutto di Parma) and other local specialties, such as Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

    Sister city relationship established in 1991

    Siófok is a popular city located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton in Hungary, known for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant tourism industry. Often referred to as the "capital" of Lake Balaton, Siófok attracts thousands of visitors each year, especially during the summer months, due to its beautiful beaches, recreational activities, and lively atmosphere.

    Historically, Siófok was a small fishing village, but it has grown significantly over the years to become one of Hungary's most prominent resort towns. The city's lakeside promenade, beautiful parks, and recreational areas offer visitors plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, from swimming and sailing on the lake to hiking and biking in the surrounding areas.
