Who we are

Walnut Creek Sister Cities International (WCSCI) is a community-driven organization built on the belief that global connections foster understanding, friendship, and cultural exchange. As part of Sister Cities International, a global network founded in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to promote peace through people-to-people relationships, we are united by the idea that stronger global ties create a more harmonious world.

Our organization is made up of local residents passionate about strengthening relationships with our sister cities—Noceto, Italy (established in 1987) and Siófok, Hungary (established in 1991). Through social and cultural events, exchanges, and personal connections, we celebrate our shared humanity and promote open communication between our communities.

Our dedicated volunteers make this possible, creating opportunities for meaningful engagement, lifelong friendships, and a more interconnected world.

Join us in building bridges across cultures—because together, we make the world feel a little closer.
